For Nantucket moves, we can coordinate the long-distance auto transport portion to or from the Hyannis area, where the vehicle can transition to the island portion of its journey.

Why We Recommend Enclosed Transport for Many Mokes

Open transport is possible for many Moke shipments, but enclosed auto transport is often our preferred option.

The Moke’s open design is part of its appeal when you’re driving it around town. It also means the vehicle has less protection from road debris, weather and exposure during a long-distance carrier trip than a conventional enclosed passenger vehicle.

Enclosed transportation provides another layer of protection during the move and is particularly worth considering for customized, collectible or exceptionally well-kept Mokes.

We’ll quote the appropriate transport options based on the specific vehicle, route and timing.

Transporting an Electric Moke Requires the Right Planning

A Moke may be small, but we don’t treat it like a golf cart.

Before dispatch, we confirm the specific vehicle and its configuration so that we can match it with appropriate carrier equipment. Pickup and delivery access also matters, particularly in coastal communities with narrow streets, gated neighborhoods, seasonal traffic restrictions or limited room for a full-size auto transporter.

In some locations, the safest approach is to arrange a nearby meeting point with enough room for the carrier to load or unload properly.

That’s something we work out before the truck arrives, not when a 70-foot transporter is already sitting at the end of your street.
