From the Cape to the Sunshine State
There’s a certain point in a Cape Cod autumn when you know it’s time to go.
The hydrangeas are fading. The crowds have thinned out. Route 6 is moving again. And somewhere between the first cold morning and the first truly miserable one, Florida starts sounding like a very good idea.
If you’re heading south for the season, relocating permanently, or simply need a vehicle moved between Cape Cod and Florida, Autos On The Go provides professional Cape Cod to Florida auto transport with service throughout the Cape and to destinations across the Sunshine State.
We’ve been arranging vehicle transport since 2008. The Cape-to-Florida corridor is exactly the kind of long-distance route we know well: seasonal, heavily traveled, and straightforward when you understand how to price and schedule it properly.
Auto Transport From Anywhere on Cape Cod
Cape Cod isn’t one town, and we don’t treat it like one.
We arrange vehicle pickup throughout the Upper, Mid, Lower, and Outer Cape, including:
- Bourne
- Sandwich
- Falmouth
- Mashpee
- Barnstable
- Hyannis
- Yarmouth
- Dennis
- Harwich
- Chatham
- Brewster
- Orleans
- Eastham
- Wellfleet
- Truro
- Provincetown
Whether the car is sitting at a year-round residence in Falmouth, a summer house in Chatham, a condo in Hyannis, or all the way out in Provincetown, we can coordinate the pickup.
The same goes on the other end.
Anywhere in Florida Means Anywhere in Florida
South Florida gets plenty of Cape Cod traffic, but our service doesn’t stop at Palm Beach.
We regularly arrange transport to West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, The Villages and communities throughout the rest of Florida.
If there’s a road to it, chances are we can get your car there.
That includes seasonal residences, retirement communities, hotels, dealerships, storage facilities, private residences and other agreed-upon locations.

We Know the Road South
There’s more to Cape Cod-to-Florida transport than typing two zip codes into a calculator.
Getting off the Cape is its own exercise.
US-6 is the spine of Cape Cod, and where your vehicle is located along that corridor matters. Picking up a car in Sandwich is not the same proposition as sending a truck out toward Wellfleet or Provincetown. Carrier access, timing, traffic and the additional mileage all affect how a shipment comes together.
Once the vehicle is off Cape, I-95 becomes the backbone of the trip south.
After nearly two decades in auto transport, we know the I-95 corridor exceptionally well. Massachusetts through the Northeast, past the Mid-Atlantic, through the Carolinas and Georgia, and finally into Florida: it’s one of the most important auto transport corridors in the country.
That familiarity matters.
We know which portions of the route tend to have strong carrier traffic, where pricing gets thin, how seasonal demand changes availability, and when a quote looks attractive on paper but probably isn’t going to move a car.
We’d rather give you a realistic number than a pretty one.
Snowbird Auto Transport From Cape Cod to Florida
For many of our customers, shipping a car south is simply part of closing up the Cape house for the season.
Instead of putting another 1,300-plus miles on your vehicle, dealing with Northeast traffic, spending a night or two on the road and arriving in Florida thoroughly sick of I-95, you can fly south and have the car transported separately.
We arrange open and enclosed auto transport depending on the vehicle and your preferences.
Open transport is the most common and economical option for everyday vehicles, SUVs and trucks.
Enclosed transport provides additional protection and is often preferred for Porsches, Ferraris, Bentleys, Mercedes-Benz models, Range Rovers, classics, collector vehicles and other high-value automobiles making the seasonal migration.
Some cars belong on an open carrier.
Some cars decidedly do not.
We’ll help you choose accordingly.
When Should You Book Cape Cod to Florida Car Shipping?
The Cape-to-Florida market is highly seasonal.
As New England starts cooling down, demand for southbound transport increases considerably. The same thing happens in reverse when everyone decides Florida has become approximately as hot as the surface of the sun and heads north again.
Booking ahead gives us more flexibility to coordinate your preferred pickup window and locate a strong carrier at a sensible rate.
That said, life doesn’t always operate on a tidy schedule.
If you need last-minute Cape Cod to Florida auto transport, call us. We’ll tell you what’s realistically available rather than pretending every vehicle can magically be picked up tomorrow.
Why Autos On The Go?
Autos On The Go has been coordinating vehicle transport nationwide since 2008.
We’re a licensed auto transport broker, and our job is not simply to find a truck. It’s to understand the route, properly price the shipment, vet the carrier, coordinate pickup and delivery, communicate when circumstances change, and solve the little problems that inevitably appear when you’re moving a vehicle more than a thousand miles.
For Cape Cod customers heading to Florida, that means working with someone who understands both ends of the route and everything in between.
No call center theatrics. No suspiciously cheap quote designed solely to get your phone number. No pretending logistics are more glamorous than they are.
Just experienced auto transport, handled properly.
