Corvette Transport From San Benito, Texas to Destin, Florida
The Corvette was picked up directly from Gillman Chevrolet in San Benito, Texas, before beginning its trip east toward Florida.
For dealership purchases like this one, Autos On The Go can coordinate directly with the dealership and carrier to arrange vehicle release, pickup timing and transportation. The buyer doesn’t have to travel to the selling dealership simply to take possession of the vehicle.
This Corvette was delivered directly to the private buyer in Destin two days after pickup.
Why This Corvette Was Shipped in a Private Enclosed Hauler
This wasn’t simply an enclosed spot on a large multi-car trailer. The Corvette traveled in a private single-car enclosed hauler, with no other vehicles sharing the trailer.
Enclosed transportation protects the vehicle from road debris, weather and exposure during transit. A single-car setup also minimizes additional loading and unloading along the route.
For a new, high-performance vehicle with low ground clearance like this Corvette Grand Sport, it was the right equipment for the shipment and helped us accommodate the customer’s expedited timeline.
What Did This Corvette Transport Cost?
The actual customer price for this shipment was $1,975.
That included expedited service and a private single-car enclosed carrier from San Benito to Destin.
Auto transport rates aren’t fixed. Pricing can change based on the route, vehicle, time of year, carrier availability, pickup requirements and type of equipment requested. The $1,975 price shown here is the actual price of this September 2026 shipment, not an estimate of what every Texas-to-Florida transport will cost.
Publishing real shipment examples gives customers a better idea of what specialized vehicle transportation can cost under real-world conditions.
Expedited 2-Day Delivery to Destin
The carrier picked up the Corvette on September 17 and completed delivery to the private buyer in Destin on September 19.
That’s a two-day transit covering a long-distance route from South Texas to Florida.
Expedited transport is designed for shipments where timing is a priority. Carrier selection becomes especially important because the route, equipment and driver’s schedule all have to line up with the requested pickup and delivery timeframe.
